Intuit’s Guaranteed Ride Home Program
One reason many people are hesitant to try a commute alternative is concern about being unable to get home in the event of a conflict. Intuit’s Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) Program alleviates this concern.
- If you need a ride home from the location where you end your work day, Intuit will pay for a Lyft ride or a cab to transport you home or to the location of an emergency or even have a rental car delivered to you. Intuit commute solutions users are allowed up to five (5) guaranteed rides per year. When you use the guaranteed ride home is up to you.
- If you are using a commute alternative, and your ride is interrupted either on your way to work or on your way home from work, you may also use your guaranteed ride home. Destinations other than your home limited to Transit Centers, Park and rides, Doctors, Hospitals, Day Care and Schools are also allowed; your ride will terminate there.
For Lyft: Reach out to the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) at 650-944-6911 X46911. The GSOC will dispatch a Lyft ride for you at the requested time.
For Cabs: You will need to contact local Cab company to arrange your pick-up and assure they send a cab that accepts Visa cards. Expense it to your P-Card and reference Guaranteed Ride Home Program.
For the rental car: This is the most difficult GRH solution- it requires you to go to a local lot and return it to the same lot in less than 24 hours. It’s offered where the distance for a Lyft or Cab isn’t practical or you have a need for car seats while in route to an emergency. It will not be approved as a solution while your vehicle is being repaired. For a 24hour car rental, call Tom Harrington X45624.
